I know I should have done this much earlier ... but, having only recently discovered the joys of the site (not to mention Helen and Becky) I wanted to say thanks to all those involved in setting up this home from home. It's as lively as the official board ever was and I am mega-chuffed to see we have exiles congregating to discuss things with so much energy. And that the sense of family continues! With best wishes Jeremy Vine (I am wearing a safety helmet as advised).

Hi Jeremy

Hope that you get time to add a few comments on here. I enjoy your show but understand that you must remain impartial when representing the BBC.

Mike's right. This board and it's community is something the girls should be very proud of.

Many Thanks for your support makes it all worthwhile :D

It's been a team effort and many people have been involved, including the guys :-) so I'd like to thank them all very much because without them it wouldn't have been possible.

Am I able to voice a little healthy scepticism as to whether you are in fact the actual JV? This being the internet I am inclined to take little at face value.

And quite right too AM.

Say something Jeremyesque, or tell us something we didn't know about the swingometer and we might believe you.http://img1.picturewizard.com/13240CC/0/bebe69.gif

AM

When myself and Jason Reynolds (no relation) who also occasionally posts on here, did a Hospital Radio link up between our respective stations (mine in Exeter, his in Surrey), JV did a station ident for us, so I can say without a doubt that it is the man himself.

Of course, you're not spoilt for choice up in those parts. Some jolly nice Valencian wines to choose from?

... being even slower at reading than everyone else, welcome to Jeremy :)

Some media superstars are good at relating to the common masses. It is good, however, to see that you, Jeremy, are more selective and choose instead to communicate with the select group who frequent Jezzaxexiles :lol;

Hello Jeremy.

Is it true, that Jimmy Young is kept bound and gagged in the basement of Broadcasting House, and made to listen to thousands of jokes, told by your Tim...?

I think we should be told.

Just realised Jezza's looked in. This is like getting a visit from royalty. Good on him. Makes the "other" board look a tad common, don't you think? :lol: Plebs.
