Hi all,

First music quiz tonight at 8.30 for anyone who is interested. Of course the regular quiz will still be on this Thursday, too.

We'll see how it goes, although, knowing how brainy you lot are, I hope the questions aren't too easy!

Mike

Mike Reynolds

The original Blue who were signed to Elton's Rocket records in the 70s unsuccessfully sued the teen band Blue a few years ago.

Gun in the sixties had a hit with 'Race with the Devil, the Gun of the 90s hit with a cover of Cameo's 'Word Up' and Nirvana had a hit in the late sixties with 'Rainbow Chaser' many years before Kurt and the guys came along.

Given that this was the first music quiz, I think it should be given a few more weeks to get up and running. After all, this is Bank Holiday Monday, and a lot of the regulars could be away, or busy with their families.

Speaking personally, I think it's a great idea and that Mike did a superb job of it.

Yep, really good questions, not enough contestants involved. Unfortunately RB, myself and you are no masterminds when it comes to music, which just left Raver & Scorps, with a bigger turnout i think it would have definitely worked. I for one have learnt a lot of great facts.
Probably am as frustrated as Mike that i did not know more. Thanks for all your hard work Mike.

Yep, apologies RB, iv'e had my son who lives with me, my other son, his mate who has left a slight stench around the computer and i have had trouble getting my brain to work as well. First time in 2 days i have relaxed, got a stiff drink and i think my brain went to bed.
