Oh, Mike, never have smoked myself but all my family did - and have given up, so I have seen/coped with/endured/ the consequences!
As PG says, don't push yourself if being somewhere else makes it easier for you!

I've only gone just over a day without a ciggie, but am coughing like mad, which proves it's doing me no good at all, smoking, so really hope I can make a go of it.

Hey Mike, you posted the thread at 11-13 last night. I was drifting off to sleep then (early start). Been at work all day, will try and make it. You know we enjoy the quiz......... trying to give up smoking does make you niggley.

My big sister gave up a couple of years ago, just before she was 50. She can't believe how much money she has saved and has been on loads of holidays since.
She has put weight on though - not chocolate - beer!!

Have you tried the Nasal spray to help quit smoking? It's brilliant. It costs roughly 20 quid but it lasts for ages. Basically, you use it twice an hour or whenever the craving is really strong and because it's shot up your nose, it delivers the instant hit of a smoke but without all the harmful chemicals.
