I have just switched my radio on - and I caught JV saying

"lovemaking without the cumbersome condom coming in the way" . . . . do tell . . . what's that about?

He'd said a few minutes earlier that they would be discussing vasectomies on Monday's health hour. Someone had emailed in response!

I did wonder if it was personal?..... ;)

V8,

Would it seem very rude if I replied no thanks?

Hi WG,

Mildly confused by the last story partly perhaps because it has passed me by and I don't know all the details.

Why did the chap who went into report the proposed crime end up with the same sentence as the other two?

If he was as he said (according to JV) a vigilante then why have the courts put the fear of prison into any others attempting to help out in this way

or

If he was part of the original plot thinking that it was fantasy and took fright and informed the police when he realised it was for real why did he get the same sentence as the other two? Surely in any future circumstance such an individual would simply bow out of the plot and not tell the police anything

Was there a specific reason why they were all treated the same?

I reckon he was part of the plot but got cold feet and thought he would get a pat on the back and let off the hook by handing in the evidence. Nice try, filthy scumbag. He also tried to use the 'vigilante' excuse for trawling through child pr0n sites. Don't think so. Did he pass on the info he gathered to the IWF or similar body ?

What I find most disturbing is that their conversation was taking place on some server somewhere and they were swapping snaps and it had all gone totally undetected.

Exactly Helen. I shall be keeping out a very well trained ear for anyone from Kent with a London accent who takes the opportunity to share his operation details with the nation.

From looking at some of the transcripts last night he actually seemed to be the leader of the plot.

I think he got cold feet in case he was being monitored and thought if he reported it he'd get away with it.

So if he was a vigilante he was of the agent provocateur ilk and if not then I guess he took his chances with the courts.

Is it just me or did they get longer than some people who have actually put their fantasies into action? Not that I am necessarily arguing that they were hard done to as I don't know what else they had on their computers but sometimes the distribution of sentences seems....well, odd.

Thanks folks for filling me in the finer points
